Sharing the Love!

It’s no secret that we have a lengthy FAQ page. Because we are not a standard hotel, we get so many questions about the Guesthouse. And we generally love to answer them! But those are all the questions that people ask before they arrive here. This month, we would like to share with you what people say after they have stayed. We are pretty proud of our good reviews. So here is just a small selection of the wonderful reviews we have received. Just in case you were wondering about staying, but unsure as to what people liked.

Very nice heritage building with very kind owner that it seems you are in your own property with different good services
I recommend this nice and clean place for anyone wants to stay for short time staying in Hamilton.
It is close to city center specially for me was close walking distance to place that I should’ve be there.
I enjoyed my time and my staying in PRING GUESTHOUSE.
I highly recommend this place. – from Google, June 2026

Great little gem tucked away just north of the downtown core. I was pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a private room for free despite me booking a bed in the female dorm. Sadly, I only stayed for one night and had to leave very early the next morning, so didn’t get a chance to enjoy more of the amenities outside of the lovely kitchen. Loved the free cereal/oats, milk and coffee in the morning

My only comment is to look into installing blackout shades to go with the current curtains so that those who need to sleep a little later or on shifted schedules can enjoy it more.

Will be back

Really walkable to downtown and with the new TD coliseum venue up, a great place for a post event crash if you are from out of town and don’t drive or decide to not splurge on Uber – from Google, May 2026

Needed a place to stay for one night. Being LGBTQ+ friendly and in a women-only dorm felt very safe and inclusive. Simple comfortable bed. Lots of facilities. The owner Tim was so friendly and extremely accommodating! – from Google, March 2026

Constructive Criticism

We are always here to help, and we are extremely open to advice. If something is odd, especially if you’re travelling internationally, and you need some assistance, just let us know. Anything from needing help carrying heavy bags, to understanding what is going on with the bags of milk in the fridge (it’s an Ontario thing!).

Stayed in the Beasley room for the night and it was exactly what we needed. Located in a lovely heritage building, the room and house is full of character. Super comfy and clean, both the room and common areas were very well kept. There are multiple well stocked washrooms and the kitchen looked recently installed or renovated. The staff was present, kind, and helpful. Would come back in a heartbeat! – from Expedia, May 2026

A great place to stay! The guesthouse has a beautiful common area to unwind, clean shared facilities, and the most approachable, friendly and welcoming staff you could hope for! It was also conveniently located near multiple grocery and restaurant options, cafes and bus stops. Definitely one of my favourite hostels I’ve stayed in. I hope to stay there again when again I am in the area. 🙂 I enjoyed it and felt safe as a single traveller. Thiugh I think it would also be perfect for small groups – from Hostelworld, April, 2026

The house and amenities are excellent, as it has everything you need. The hosts are also very welcoming, and the accommodation is very clean and well-maintained. The location near train stations and buses allows easy access to Toronto and Niagara. Falls very easily. We also made some lovely acquaintances. – from Booking, June 2026
