How to Get Here

By Aeroplane

The nearest airport is Hamilton International Airport. Alternatively, the busiest airport is Pearson Airport in Toronto. Once you arrive at either of these airports, you can make your way to us by a number of different methods.

By Train or Bus

The easiest way to navigate Southern Ontario without your own car is to use either Go Transit or Via Rail. If you are travelling in the Toronto and Hamilton area, Go Transit will work better for you. However, if you are travelling across Canada, Via Rail will take you further. Once you are in Hamilton, you can rely on the Hamilton Street Rail to take you where you want to go.

By Car

If you are driving here, the main highways into Hamilton are the Queen Elizabeth Way (QEW) or the 403. The streets of Hamilton are arranged in a grid pattern. However, be aware that a lot of the streets are one-way only. If you have any trouble navigating, please contact us in advance and we will be very happy to help.

By Bike

Ontario has extensive bike trails. Indeed, you can travel on safe, separated bike lanes within most cities, as well as between cities and towns on many cycle routes. If you are interested in cycle tourism, you can find some great information at Ontario by Bike. Also, if you are interested in long-distance travel, why not look at the enormous Trans Canada Trail? When you are in Hamilton, we are lucky to have a city bike-share program where you can rent a bike.

On Foot

If you are an enthusiastic hiker, you are in luck! Hamilton is located on the Bruce Trail. This trail extends for thousands of kilometres across Southern Ontario and wends between towns and deep forest lands.
